Director of Photography in Edinburgh & Scotland

​

Based in Edinburgh, Scotland, I’m available for productions throughout Edinburgh, Glasgow and the wider Scottish production industry, as well as projects across the UK, EU and USA. I have a unique position having a US and German passport, while having the right to work in the UK.

I work as a freelance camera operator and DoP, either joining an established production team or helping to develop the camera and lighting approach for a project from pre-production through to filming.

I also have access to a professional cinema equipment package including the ARRI ALEXA 35, anamorphic and spherical cinema lenses, professional lighting, monitoring and camera support equipment.

Recent projects have taken me to Brazil, Florida, Germany and Kazakhstan. My ability to adapt in harsh conditions while shooting heavy subject matter in documentaries, -fast paced environments on commercials and long grinds on long form dramas have given me a unique skill-set to be adaptable and to plan and shoot various shooting styles across the globe.
